IFS acquires connected worker platform Poka

IFS has acquired Canada-based Poka. This gives it a platform that focuses on employee efficiency.

The acquisition of Poka was not accompanied by the disclosure of financial details. However, it will offer companies the opportunity to combine IFS’ software with a connected worker platform. The platform enables companies to help employees, such as factory operators, to work more efficiently. Example is include providing training, developing in other areas and solving problems with these employees.

Better productivity insights

IFS says this gives companies better insights into the productivity of their machinery and operators to determine profitability. Especially with the rise of Industry 4.0, this is becoming increasingly important.

In addition, Poka provides insights that allow companies to take action on compliance and provide safer working conditions to meet ESG standards.

IFS plans to further integrate the acquired platform’s technology into its ERP, FSM, and EAM technology.
